American Gold Eagles : Uncirculated 1986-Date
In 1986, the United States began striking silver and gold bullion coins to compete with world bullion coins such as the Canadian Maple Leaf, the South African Krugerrand, and others. The value of these coins was intended to be tied directly to their metal value, although in some cases (where mintages were low) a collector market has developed. The bullion value of these coins far outstrips their face value. The obverse of U.S. gold bullion coins follows the artistic design created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the $20 Gold Double Eagles issued from 1907-1933. The design features Lady Liberty carrying an olive branch and a torch.

American Gold Buffalo Coins : BU & Proof
The American Buffalo, also known as a Gold Buffalo Coin, is a 24-karat gold bullion coin first offered for sale by the United States Mint on June 22, 2006. This was the first time ever that the United States Government has minted pure (.9999) 24-karat gold coins for the public. The coin has a legal tender (face) value of US$50. On the American Buffalo coin, the mound area of the reverse with the words FIVE CENTS has been changed to read $50 1 OZ. .9999 FINE GOLD. Also, the motto IN GOD WE TRUST, appearing on all U.S. gold coins since 1908, can be seen on the reverse to the left of and beneath the buffalo head.

Canadian Maple Leafs
The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is the official bullion gold coin of Canada and is produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. The Gold Maple Leaf is one of the purest gold coins of regular issue in the world, with a gold content of .9999 fineness (24 carats), with some special issues .99999 fine. That is, it contains virtually no other base metals at all, only gold exclusively from gold mines in Canada. We offer Gold Maple Leafs at a low premium over spot price and generally carry them in large quantities. The Gold Maple Leaf is a great addition to any portfolio and a great alternative to the American Gold Eagle or South African Gold Krugerrand.

$10 Indian
Perhaps the most fascinating feature of this striking gold coin is that the edge of the coin features raised stars signifying the states of the Union, rather than a lettered or reeded edge. The $10 Indian was originally struck with a wire rim in 1907, which gave the coin a more 3-Dimensional appearance. Coins struck from 1907 to 1911 feature 46 stars. Two more stars were added the following year to commemorate the addition of New Mexico and Arizona to the Union.

$5 Indian
What sets the $5 and $2.50 Indian Head gold coins apart from other United States coins is that they were the first (and only) U.S. gold coins to use the technique known as incuse relief, giving the design elements and lettering a sunken-in appearance on a uniformly flat plane.

Certified Gold
Certified gold coins have become a popular alternative to standard bullion products such as the American Eagles and the Canadian Maple Leafs because they have historically proven to profit at higher ratios while at the same time preserving wealth as a long-term investment. The most popular varieties of these products come certified by a reputable third party grading company such as the Professional Coin Grading Service or the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.

Investors who want a safer alternative to bullion products usually diversify into certified gold coins for the simple fact that they are non-confiscatable by the United States Government in the event of another bullion confiscation such as the one we experienced in 1933 to back up the United States Dollar.

Proof Gold
Proof Gold American Eagle coins undergo a detailed minting process using special dies. Lustrous coin blanks are fed manually into the presses where they are struck multiple times to ensure detailed coin images, which appear softly frosted above a mirror-like background. Each Proof Eagle comes in a beautiful, dark blue velvet presentation case (pictured right) with an official U.S. Mint Certificate of Authority. This certificate outlines the United States government' guarantee of the coin's gold content, weight, and purity.
